I know. But the reality of actually getting people to do farmwork is a whole ‘other ballgame. In the UK, they had over 50,000 people express interest in a nationwide effort to recruit citizens out of work due to Covid-19 into agricultural work. Only 150 actually took jobs.

That’s about similar rate to what I have experienced trying to hire people on my farm. It’s, literally, a ‘hard row to hoe’ for not much money.
