I don't disagree. But I don't know how we make the fundamental change to the system without burning it ALL down. And the millions and millions who would starve because of it.

I have often gotten frustrated and suggested to my fellow farmers we need to just all go on strike. NO MORE FOOD for anybody. Then, reset at reasonable prices paid to the farmers (gasp what a thought). But that is not, of course, realistic.

It's all too easy to rail against the cage we've made for ourselves, yelling and screaming, without getting anywhere.

One thing to note, however, even when paid a 'living' wage to do things like weeding, the vast majority of people will chose to do something else to make an income. It's hard work. As long as there are other jobs for them to do, they'll chose 'other.'
